Great service! New sushi chef was amazing and made us a special spicy salmon hand roll. We'll be back. Happy they were open Sunday evening.

The food is excellent and the chef at the hibachi grill was very entertaining. The restaurant is pretty new, so the inside is very clean and kept up. It is obvious that the staff is wanting to give good service by asking how the chef was once he was done cooking, and even the manager comes to the table to see how everyone enjoyed their dinner. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I thought the menu was a little pricey, by $5-6 more than what I am used too for a hibachi restaurant. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

I read reviews about which almost swayed me to stay away but I thought I'd find out for myself and I'm glad I did, i thought the sushi was very good, the dinner was great, portions were more than I could finish and the chef was very friendly and entertaining. It was clean as a whistle and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

My fiance and I have been herea few times, once with a few friends and ate at the grill. The chef was super nice and really funny! I have been to many Japanese hibachi around the country and this place was really good. The next time we went we sat at the tables and the service was still good and the food was delicious. The sushi was also pretty good. I think people need to remember where they are... this is the middle of Alabama...and being able to get decent hibachi here is short of a miracle!

I was really impressed. The food is cooked to perfection and there is a TON of food. Way too much for one person to eat. I don't know if they allow hibachi guests to share plates, but I am going to ask next time. I recommend the steak and shrimp. It was great!

When my colleagues suggested that we visit this trendy hibachi hot spot, little could I ever imagine that it would turn into one of the most hilarious dinners I've ever experienced. And whilst the chef was highly entertaining and just slightly funnier than Carrot Top (yes, it was like amateur hour at the hibachi grill), his greatest attribute was also his biggest downfall and probably the one thing that kept me from giving this place a 5th star. Let's talk about this.

The quality of the food really surprised me! First of all, the fried rice was absolutely phenomenal! We're talking perfectly seasoned, tender, and portioned just right with plenty of veggies and egg! I haven't had fried rice this tasty since Miyabi in Fayetteville, North Carolina. And that's saying a lot!

On this most amusing of nights, I ordered shrimp and lobster. Both were well seasoned, tender and fully cooked. And I gotta say this is actually the first hibachi chef I've witnessed putting white sauce on the lobster as it was cooking. Impressive. Most impressive.

Now, whilst I had almost zero issues with the quality of the food, let's talk about what sucked about the evening.

The chef certainly had mad skills on the grill and, as I mentioned before, displayed a sense of humor which could only accurately be compared to amateur night at some B rated comedy club. Unfortunately, I think all the entertaining, spatula twirling, egg spinning, and attempting to get his mac on (more on that in a bit) was the chief cause of his achingly slow delivery of food to diners. Because this guy was seriously cooking at a snail's pace! It was actually painful to watch after a while.

So I get the fried rice fairly quick, right? Then the guy starts flirting hardcore with one of the chics at our table. I realize he was probably doing it for the "lulz", but this dude was definitely sweating this girl. I think he might have even had a hard-on at some point.

He kept asking for her number and telling her daughter he could be her daddy. No one took offense or anything. It was just....weird. Hilarious, but weird. I've never seen anything like it and I've been to a TON of hibachi restaurants.

All joking aside though, the biggest problem with this dinner was that it took far too long to get out. By the time I finally got my lobster, I was already completely finished eating my rice. And I have NEVER had that happen! In fact, it shouldn't happen ever. Even though items are delivered one at a time at these types of places, they're normally done so in close enough succession where you're not left still snacking on rice 45 minutes later. I'm a slow eater who likes to enjoy all of his items together. And I'm almost always the last person to finish his meal at the table, so that should tell you something.

All in all, if I lived in the area, I would certainly return simply for the fact that the food is really good here and you can always get a completely different chef at random. Although the place itself isn't very big, so you might get one of, like...6 chefs. I don't know how many they have working for them, so I couldn't tell ya for sure.

Based on excellent food, a hilarious show by the chef, and anemically slow delivery of food, I'm giving this place 4 hibachi chefs trying to flirt with the hot chic at the table out of 5.

Great food. We had a craving for Asian cuisine and needed take out. A little pricey but the quantities for hibachi take out were awesome and it was prepared really quick. We had steak shrimp and chicken as well as a spicy tuna roll, all amazing and exactly what we wanted.

No comments for the hibachi service in the restaurant but the take out was amazing and we'll definitely go back.

A lot of not good reviews here but we didn't experience any of it. Service was a touch slow but nothing too bad. Food was good, proportions large and we left full. What else can I say?

This place is a hibachi dinner and a show for really cheap. They also have sushi options available for anyone who'd prefer to have sushi.

I got the shrimp and steak entree. It comes without side salad and a mushroom based soup for starters. The salad had fresh crisp veggies and had plentiful dressing and the soup was flavorful with actual mushrooms inside. Then fried rice, stir fried veggies (cabbage, zucchini, mushrooms, etc), shrimp, and steak of course. Most of the meal seemed to be stir fried with butter.. which I have no complaints for that since I love butter. None of the food was dry, all flavorful and yummy!

The show portion was nice. The cook was extremely friendly, always smiling, and is awesome at engaging conversation. Then there's the waitresses who are consistent on checking up on you and removing any unused/unwanted trays and refills.

Tip: the entire table did order their steak medium-rare. The cook cooks them medium rare, but then cuts it and stir fried them.. in the end, it comes out well-done.

Great sushi and great filet mignon! Cost was 70 bucks for two but was delicious. Recommend for special occasions

The sushi here is delicious! The prices are a bit higher for sushi but if you fill up quickly it doesn’t make to much of a difference. I ordered 3 rolls and they were big. I could barely finish the last one. Soooo good though. My husband ordered a dish with filet mignon, scallops and fried rice. It was also really good. Everything was cooked perfectly. We left feeling very satisfied. It is a pricer place so be prepared to pay a bit more. However you get exactly what you pay for. We will definitely be back for another special occasion.

I love the teppanyaki here. The sushi is a hit and miss, but usually really good. The waiting service is also a hit and miss. Usually pretty on point though.
